Welcome to day 8 of 21 days of prayer! The challenge to stick with your goals in 2017 depends heavily on what you believe. In Mark 9:23, a man brought his son to Jesus and asked for help. Jesus said, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth." Did you know that the first step is what you believe? How badly do you want to achieve your goals? In this passage, the man realized that his son's healing was directly tied to his faith to believe what appeared to be impossible. In those moments, you have to be like this man. Verse 24 says, "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." You must face your doubts and fear head on. If you're still unsure of yourself, use this time of prayer to cry out to the Lord for His supernatural assistance.
OUR PRAYER
Lord, today I ask for your help. In Luke 18:27, you said."The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Therefore, I am with You because you make the impossible possible. You have put the very things that were out of my reach within reach. You have promised to turn impossible reports of man into good news for me, my family and friends. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Greater is He who is in me than he that is in the world. And by the power of God, I am more than a conqueror! Thank you Lord for choosing me, making me part of a royal priesthood, a member of a holy nation, a peculiar person, who will show forth Your praises for calling me out of darkness and into your marvelous light. There was a day of impossibility because I had no identity but now, my dreams and my plans are possible because I am identified as a child of God. In Jesus's name, Amen!
