Praise the Lord!! We have arrived at day 21 of 21 Days of Prayer! Today, we ask you to let your life become living faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, "For we walk (live) by faith, not by sight:.." but in truth, many people say they have faith in God which is talking-faith, but they do not live a life of faith which is living faith! The secret to living faith is being a doer of the Word of God. “But don't just listen to God's word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves (James 1:22)”.
As we nourish our souls with the Word of God,
living faith begins to activate.
Reading our bibles and praying daily are good things we all should do to build our faith. As we build up our faith healing, deliverance, safety, and provision from God becomes more evident in our lives. The Word of God kills doubt, anxiety, sexual immorality, and divination because wherever the Word of God abides faith comes alive. As we nourish our souls with the Word of God, living faith begins to activate. We begin to have daily encounters with God. Living faith is what changes us. Living faith is what changes our families. Living faith is what changes our churches. Living faith is what changes our communities. Jesus proclaimed if you love me you will keep my commandments. Keeping his commandments means living a life that glorifies God. As we close out this 21 day encounter with God, continue these two things: 1) grow in your faith by daily study in the Word and prayer; and, 2) live the life of faith by doing the Word of God. This is how you activate living faith!
Let's pray: Dear heavenly Father, I enter in through the blood of Jesus humbly submitting my mind, thoughts, attitude, and emotions to you. I admit, I thought reading my bible, going to church, being nice to people, and just being good was all I needed to do. But I realize that is just an outward appearance. My life needs to change. I need to activate living faith in my life. Lord, by your Holy Spirit, let destiny flow into my life, changing me into a person who lives a life of faith. Lord, I want my conversation and manner of life to line up with the directives of Your Word. I want my life to be an example of righteous and clean living. Be glorified in my thoughts. Reveal yourself to me when I study the scriptures. Speak to me when I pray. Fill my mouth with words that edify and encourage others to live by faith and not by sight. Let my life become living faith. In Jesus's name, Amen!
