Day 12 You Are What You Think

Updated: Apr 5, 2020

Thank God for day 12 of 21 days of prayer! What and how you think is more important than most people are willing to admit. But every action we take is preceded by a thought. This is why Romans 12:2 says, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." The only way to truly transform your life is to transform your thinking. In other words, thoughts rooted in God's Word will produce Godly actions and thought rooted in the rudiments of the world will produce worldly actions. Every single time God speaks something good into our lives, spiritual forces arise to hinder, interrupt, distract and build barricades between you and your destiny. To overcome, you must embrace God's will for your life by meditating on what He says about you.

Do not cancel the prophetic word

spoken over your life by living the carnal life.

Dr. Regina Daigre

Here's our prayer for today: Father, in the name of Jesus, I commit my mind, my will and my emotions to You. Because I am what I think, today I make a quality decision to change my thinking. Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, I will think on these things (Philippians 4:8). From today forward, my decisions and the life I live, is the evidence of the change that has happened in my heart. I know this because Proverbs 23:7 says, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”. I guard my heart so that my words are filled with grace and seasoned with salt. Therefore, I intentionally think on and live my life according to the teachings of the Word of God. In Jesus's name, Amen!
