Day 9 Gods' Very Good

Updated: Apr 5, 2020

Good Day to All! It is day 9 of 21 Days of Prayer. Genesis 1:31 says, "And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." Sometimes we fail, mess up and show weakness. But that doesn't have to define us. We don't have to let those things cancel the "very good" that God put in us. When we understand the character and sheer ability to influence circumstances around us, we should acknowledge it as God's divine design. How do we do that? John 1: 12-13 concludes, "But as many as received him, to them he gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Can you agree with what God says about you? "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27)." Imagine that! We are created in God's image. Designed to reason, display Godly virtues and to exercise mountain-moving faith as a witness to others. Do you realize who you are and the potential you possess? Now, make a decision to tap into that power by agreeing that what God created, including yourself, was and still is "very good".

SAY THIS PRAYER:

Lord, I believe that You raised Jesus from the dead, that he is alive and I receive Him as my Lord and Savior. I agree with what your word says about me. God, I am your creation, and you said everything that you made is very good. Through the power of the Holy Spirit that’s working in me, I am a person of character, wisdom, and understanding. My reputation is preceded by love, obedience, and integrity. I agree that the power of God has set me free; therefore, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For this reason, I declare that my life is no longer a picture of hopelessness because I hope in your word. My life is a reflection of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I agree with what You say about me. You say I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me; therefore, I am more than a conqueror. You say I am descended from a royal priesthood, a holy nation and I should show forth Your praises; therefore, I praise you with all my heart, mind, and soul. My heart is full of faith. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. My life is a light to the world. I live a salt life because my life reflects the “very good” that you created by your Spirit. In Jesus's name, Amen!
